The Ajman Ruler's Court, completed in 2024 and spanning 6,938 square meters, is a testament to the seamless integration of traditional Emirati elements with contemporary design.
A standout feature is the central staircase, inspired by the fluidity of desert sand dunes, symbolizing the adaptability required in leadership and governance. Complementing this are custom palm tree sculptures by Emirati designer Khalid Shafar, crafted from local materials and standing up to four meters tall, fostering a community-centric spirit within the space.
The Boardroom houses an art piece inspired by the ancient Al Barwa letters, designed as a half-and-quarter-opened letter in stainless steel. This installation pays homage to historical correspondence exchanged between rulers and dignitaries in the UAE, akin to modern-day passports in their significance for diplomatic relations.
The cohesive design ensures a harmonious transition from the reception to the rest of the Court, setting new standards for civic architecture and work environments in the region.
